The vision of Thee Encounter Church is to be a Christ-centered, Spirit-led church where people from every background and every walk of life can have a genuine encounter with Jesus Christ, experience the transforming power of the Gospel, and discover the purpose God has for their lives.

We believe the Church was never intended to exist only for those who are already saved. While we are committed to loving, teaching, encouraging, and strengthening the body of Christ, our mission cannot stop with the saints who are already sitting in the chairs. There is a lost, broken, and hurting world beyond our doors that desperately needs the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

Our heart is for the lost soul—the person who may never walk into a church on their own, the person who has been hurt by the church, the one who feels forgotten or unwanted, the family that is struggling, the addict searching for freedom, the brokenhearted searching for hope, the prodigal who has wandered away, and the person who has never truly known Jesus.

We strive to be a church that is willing to leave the comfort of our four walls and go after the one. We will not be content simply caring for those already sitting in our chairs while lost and hurting people remain outside our doors. Our calling is to GO—to our neighbors, our community, the broken, the forgotten, and the searching—and show them the love of Jesus.

We believe every soul matters to Jesus, and therefore, every soul must matter to us. We want to see people not as numbers, attendance statistics, or another filled seat, but as individuals created by God, loved by God, and worth reaching with the Gospel.

Jesus did not wait for broken people to get themselves together before He loved them. He met people where they were, called them to Himself, transformed their lives, and gave them new purpose. We want to follow His example.

Our desire is to create a church where people can come as they are, encounter Jesus, and leave changed by His presence. We want every person who walks through our doors to know there is a place for them, their life has value, and most importantly, Jesus Christ loves them and desires a relationship with them.

We envision Thee Encounter Church as a place where salvation is celebrated, restoration takes place, families are strengthened, children are taught the Word of God, young people discover their identity and purpose in Christ, and believers are equipped to become disciples who make disciples.

We do not want to measure the success of our church simply by how many people sit in our chairs on Sunday morning. We want to see lost souls saved, prodigals come home, people baptized, broken lives restored, families strengthened, disciples made, needs met, and the Gospel carried from our church into homes, workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, and communities.

We believe those who have been reached should become people who reach others. Those who have been discipled should become people who make disciples. Those who have experienced the love and grace of Jesus should take that same love and grace into a world that desperately needs Him.

We want to equip believers not simply to attend church, but to be the Church. We want to raise up people who pray, serve, give, love, disciple, evangelize, and boldly share the hope they have found in Jesus Christ.

We want our children to grow up knowing that church is more than somewhere their family goes on Sunday—it is a family they belong to and a mission they are part of. We want our youth and young adults to know that God can use them now. We want adults of every age and season of life to understand that they have a place, a purpose, and Kingdom work to do.

We envision a church where every generation serves together, where seasoned believers pour into new believers, where the hurting find healing, where the lonely find family, and where those who once needed someone to reach them eventually become the ones reaching someone else.

We want to be known in our community not simply because of the name on our building, but because people have experienced the love of Jesus through His people. When our community hurts, we want to be present. When families are in need, we want to serve. When someone feels forgotten, we want to remind them that they are seen. And when someone does not know Jesus, we want to lovingly and boldly introduce them to Him.

Jesus commanded His followers in Matthew 28:19 to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” We believe that command is just as much for the Church today as it was when Jesus first spoke it.

The key word is GO.

Go beyond the walls.

Go beyond Sunday morning.

Go beyond what is comfortable.

Go to the lost.

Go to the hurting.

Go to the forgotten.

Go wherever God opens the door.

We refuse to become a church that is satisfied simply because we are comfortable, our chairs are occupied, and our own needs are being met. As long as there is one lost soul who has not heard the Gospel, one broken person who needs hope, one prodigal who needs to know they can come home, or one person searching for something that only Jesus can provide, there is still work for the Church to do.

At Thee Encounter Church, our vision is bigger than a building, bigger than a Sunday service, and bigger than ourselves.

We are not building an audience.

We are not simply filling chairs.

We are not building our kingdom.
